PCRTA – SECRETARY’S REPORT                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             The second 2010 PCRTA Membership Meeting was held Tuesday, June 8, 12:00 noon at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Ingomar.  Judith Looker and Darrell Meeks greeted forty-seven members and guest.  President, Phyllis White led the Pledge of Allegiance.  Past-president, Larry Russell gave the invocation.  After the ham loaf luncheon, door prizes were awarded to Dennis Parrish (floral Arrangement provided by Burnett’s Florist, Farmersville); Louise Pfouts & Phyllis White (Mary Kay products give by Wanda DeVilbiss).   New retirees attending the meeting were:  Martha Bergman-TCN; Teresa Freeman-NT & Bonnie Yates-Eaton.  Those lost to death since the last meeting:  Bruce Eley, Albert Kiracofe & Lois Shinkle.  President White introduced the new ORTA District III Director, Darlene R. Ruzicka.  She spoke about changes affecting retirees.  The May Newsletter Recording Secretary’s report was accepted after a clarification of visitors was made and a motion offered by Marty Eley and seconded by Jean House, passed.  The Treasurer’s report was accepted, as printed.          Preble County Sheriff, Michael Simpson provided a hand-out, entitled “Elder Fraud”; questions and answers followed the presentation.                                                                           Marty Eley sold raffle tickets with Darrell Meeks winning the raffle bag.  $107.00 was collected to benefit the “Tools for Schools” project.  The September meal prices will be increased to $10.00.                                                                                                                         The program for the September 14 Membership Meeting will be provided by Betty Darst, entitled, “When Amelia Stopped Here”
